Pamela de Maigret is a documentary film maker and writer who specializes in ethnographic and wildlife productions in Myanmar (Burma), Thailand, Indonesia, and the Laotion tribal villages on the border with China. Prior to making films, she was a foreign correspondent for the Philadelphia Bulletin reporting from China, Mongolia, Russia, Central America and the Middle East. Using contacts originally developed while she was a journalist, she became a liaison for the United States Congress. At the request of various Congressional committees she, arranged and accompanied visits to Yasser Arafat and the PLO. At the same time she was a consultant to the State Department and undertook special missions for the Middle East Peace Negotiator, Robert Strauss. Pamela de Maigret was educated at the Political Science Institute of the University of Paris and holds a Masters Degree from the University of California in Political Science.

at an advanced stage, in spite of repeated public
denials by the Bush administration, according to
informed sources in Washington. The present military
build-up in the Gulf would allow the US to mount an
attack by the spring. But the sources said that if there
